Testosterone is a steroid hormone, and it helps in many ways. While everyone has some levels of testosterone, males rely heavily on this hormone for many factors, including building strong muscles. 1. Erectile Dysfunction

Low testosterone causes a reduced sex drive, but worse than that, when you are ready to get intimate, you may struggle with erectile dysfunction. If you develop osteoarthritis, you'll experience pain, stiffness, tenderness, loss of flexibility, and swelling. After long periods of rest, the pain and stiffness may be worse.

4. Loss of Muscular Strength

Finally, without enough testosterone, you can't maintain big muscles, so you may start to see your muscles diminish. This can be problematic for anyone, but it is especially problematic for bodybuilders or anyone doing a manual labor job. At the same time, the reduced testosterone causes your body to create more fat, so you lose muscle but gain fat.
